Adults living in Designated Supportive Living (DSL) need significant support for many aspects of daily living, such as preparing meals, bathing, and grooming.
The DSL program is offered in partnership with Alberta Health Services and eligibility is determined through an assessment process by AHS.
We are managed by Connecting Care, Alberta’s leading senior living provider.
Residents are offered a range of social and recreational opportunities including the Java Music Club, musical performances, fitness classes, board games, bingo, and theme parties.
We prepare high-quality cuisine in our on-site kitchen and serve our residents in their cottage dining area. Residents of each cottage dine together for meals creating a warm, family atmosphere.
Residents have access to snacks and beverages throughout the day in their cottage kitchen and are always welcome to help themselves.
Pearson Place does not work with large corporate food delivery systems. Instead, we create unique menus emphasizing local flavours and incorporating locally grown seasonal produce.
Special Diets
Special preparations (mincing, pureeing, etc.) and special dietary requirements (for diabetes, celiac, allergies, etc.) will be accommodated.
